A city rich in heritage and beautiful landmarks, Ahmedabad, saw itself grow into the Tier 1 city that it is today. Over the years, living in Ahmedabad has changed and today, having a home in Ahmedabad is a status symbol. It’s not just the Amdavadis, but people from the neighboring districts have also migrated here to begin a new life.
The city of Ahmedabad has been divided into two parts by the Amdavadis themselves. There is an ‘Old Ahmedabad’ and there is a ‘New Ahmedabad’, or ‘Sheher’ and ‘City’.
The concept of housing started with the pols and shawls in the old Ahmedabad city. These pols carried the charm of inclusive living, where everyone around became family over time. There wasn’t one festival that wasn’t celebrated by all members together. Over time, the demand for space became prominent. People started looking for western inspiration in their newer constructions. Coincidentally, this was a time when the influence of western culture was becoming influential. There were movie theatres, restaurants and hotels opening up and people started imagining life beyond compact spaces.
The old city and the town are connected by 7 river bridges, on the other side of which was empty land waiting to be developed. Interestingly, this development took place when there was a rise in opportunities. Soon, the development of ‘New Ahmedabad’ was what everyone looked forward to. Exploration leads to a discovery which leads to construction. As time passed, the city kept on growing with newer land available for projects, both residential and commercial. Today, both the status and the aspirations have risen, and the city folk is looking forward to more. The city has extended its limits and progress is limitless.
Expectations are always proportional to aspirations, so soon luxurious bungalows in Ahmedabad were termed Villas in Ahmedabad. Surprisingly, for a city that began in the pols, 4 BHK Flats of Ahmedabad felt smaller which lead to the birth of 5 BHK Flats in Ahmedabad. Today, Ahmedabad is recognized as a Tier 1 city, and infrastructure development is one of the factors that drove it to this stage.
It’s the year 2021, and Ahmedabad has seen staggering growth in terms of Real Estate Development. UB Heritage is proud to have been a part of this ever-growing city and we hope that we’ll be adding new projects to the skyline of Ahmedabad.
